Our Backstory
Steps of an Owlet was created to meet the evolving needs of young minds, educators, and parents. We saw a clear desire for thoughtful, diverse, and emotionally enriching content that goes beyond the basics.
The community of parents and teachers often expresses frustration with the limited resources available for social-emotional learning, practical life skills, and inclusive stories that resonate among kids, pre-teens, and teens. The gaps in educational content, from social skills and empathy to critical thinking inspired us to build something new and fill the void.

Our Everyday Life
We are storytellers and students of life, empowering parents and teachers with content that builds the emotional and social character of young minds and introduces essential life skills and lessons in easy-to-digest formats. For every stage of a child's growth journey, we create videos that boost imagination, intellect, and self-awareness.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness can help children become aware of their feelings without immediately reacting, which can help them manage anger and frustration. It can improve their confidence,
self-esteem, and ability to focus. We create short, engaging videos tailored to children’s developmental levels and ensure that teachers and parents model mindfulness themselves to create a calming, supportive environment for children.
Philosophy For Youth
Since philosophy isn't part of core
subjects like math or science, it’s often sidelined despite its value in cognitive
development. It is important to create space for philosophical engagement outside regular class hours and discuss topics like ethics, morality, spirituality, etc, to boost critical thinking and self-reflection. Our well-thought-out videos can aid educators and parents in having such conversations with children and teens.
Life Skills
Schools and parents are often focused on academic success. On the other hand, teaching essential life skills is overlooked due to a lack of time and
to-the-point content. Teachers face packed curricula, which makes it hard to allocate time to life skills programs. We recognize this challenge and create crisp life skills videos in a classroom format, which teachers can share with students as assignments and discuss them in an informal setting.
Stories
Picture stories or moral tales boost empathy, creativity, and imagination in young minds. Effective storytelling in education requires teachers to become facilitators, but they find it challenging to allocate time for these activities alongside curriculum goals. Integrating stories into existing curricula through social-emotional learning (SEL) or literacy programs can address this issue. Our tailor-made videos can aid educators' efforts in this direction.
Our Theatre
This is our mind, heart, and soul. Feel free to spend some time at our theatre where we showcase our popular videos. We enrich our theatre with new content every month.
